Riley Gaines weeping in front of Congress because she was forced to change clothes in a closet.
University of Wyoming sorority sisters talking about their fear and discomfort, being forced to live with a 6-foot tall guy pretending to be a girl but who has a hard time hiding his erections every time he sees them en dishabille.
Kids, you’re not being forced. You’re declining to walk away. Sure, sure, principles can be costly, in coin and social approval.
And plenty of these actual female athletes may feel themselves held hostage to sports scholarships from the prestigious schools they attend. That’s why sports scholarships are, in my view, an abomination.
I’ve got an easy solution to the tuition money thuggery. The big public screamers about the horrors of gender ideology—people like James Lindsay, Matt Walsh, the conservative ladies from Fox’s Outnumbered and The Five, Jesse Watters, etc.—can start a scholarship fund of their own to ensure no girl or woman in HS or college sports will lose her place in a school that’s granted her a sports-based scholarship if she stands up for her values.
This whining after losing to a guy ought to be beneath anyone’s dignity, and this suing of Greek organizations that’ve just demonstrated to you the values they hold most dear, but you still want that pretty gold pin while complaining about what it currently represents.
If you believe the record books are posting fraudulent records now, then don’t be complicit. Women before you risked their lives, risked having their children taken away, risked losing jobs they couldn’t really do without to prove no actual woman is really a fainting flower.
And you can’t manage to say that simple little word no when someone thrusts a lie in your face?
Why should anyone else save you if you haven’t got the guts to save yourself?
A "century out of fashion", indeed. At least until one of "the fairer sex" needs a pickle jar opened ... 😉🙂
Interesting perspective, and one I didn't expect! Looks like I'm not the only one who can drop marbles!
